Workspaces: separate cookies, separate accounts
A workspace is a separate browsing space inside Minda. Each one has its own tabs and its own cookies, so its sign-ins stay inside it. That is how you can be signed in to two accounts of the same site at the same time: one in each workspace.
You can have as many workspaces as you like, on every plan. Press New workspace in the left rail to make one. Typical splits are work and personal, one workspace per client, or a shopping workspace you can wipe clean.
Why separate cookies matter
Cookies are how a site remembers you. When two workspaces use different cookie storage, a site in one cannot see the sign-in in the other. Your work email and your personal email don't collide, and a tracking cookie picked up in one workspace is not carried into the next.
Private windows go one step further: their storage lives in memory only and disappears when you close them.
Forgetting on purpose
Open Settings → Privacy & security and press Forget... to clear browsing data. You choose the scope: one site, one workspace or all normal browsing. Minda lists what will go before anything goes.
Related controls:
- Clear this site's data clears one site's cookies and storage in the current tab's workspace. It signs you out there, and other workspaces stay signed in.
- Keep sign-ins is a list of sites that stay signed in when you forget a workspace or all browsing, and when cookies are cleared at quit.
- Clear cookies and site data when you quit signs you out of sites every time Minda closes, except the ones under Keep sign-ins. Your saved passwords are kept.
A proxy per workspace
A workspace can send every page through a proxy of its own. Its Connection... dialog has a Check button that shows the address and country sites see from it. The check makes one request with no cookies, and it goes the way that workspace's pages go. Lesson 3 covers proxies.
The AI agent and workspaces
The AI agent can work in a workspace's sign-ins, in tabs you do not see. It uses another workspace when your own words name it, as in "in the Shop B workspace", or ask for every account, or when Auto is on in the chat box's Modes menu. Text on a web page can never pick a workspace for it.
Know the limit
Workspaces keep accounts apart from each other inside Minda. They are not a lock against other people who use your computer's account, and they don't change the address websites see. Use Hide my IP or a proxy for that.
