How Minda AI credits work
Every Minda function is on every plan, the AI agent included. What you pay for is use: Minda AI credits, spent when Minda's hosted AI models work for you.
What each plan includes
- Free: 100 credits a month and 30 free everyday replies a day.
- Pro: $25 a month, or $240 a year ($20 a month). It includes 2,000 credits a month and 100 everyday replies a day, with a 7-day trial and no card needed.
Everyday replies are short answers on the everyday models, and they cost nothing. Past them, a message uses credits. Your month's credits renew each calendar month.
What uses credits
- A standard message starts at 1 credit. Larger models cost more, and the model menu shows about how many credits a message takes before you pick one.
- Pictures, voice and video are priced by size and length, and Minda tells you the price before it makes one.
- Each step the agent takes is an AI request, so long tasks use more.
- A failed or empty reply is never charged.
Use none at all
Add your own key in Settings → AI (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter or Qwen), or run a model on your computer with Ollama. The chat is then unlimited and uses no credits. Many people keep Minda AI for the odd premium question and their own key for the rest.
Get more
- Credit packs: 1,000 credits for $5, 5,500 for $25 or 11,500 for $50. Pack credits never expire and are used after your month's credits.
- Daily check-in: Minda checks you in once a day by itself and adds 3 credits to your month, with 20 more on a 7-day streak and 100 more at 30 days, and again every 30 days after. Miss a day and the streak starts over. See it in Settings → Account → Rewards.
- Invite a friend: press Copy link there. A friend whose new account uses your link gets 50 credits, and so do you.
- Default browser: 100 more credits a month while Minda is your default browser.
- The Creator market: your sales pay in credits that never expire.
Check-in, invite and default-browser credits join your month's credits and end with the month, so use them rather than save them.
Keep an eye on them
When 90% of your credits are used, a one-line notice sits on top of the chat box with View usage. When they run out it turns red, with Upgrade and Buy credits. You can close it, and it stays away until your credits come back.
Settings → Account → Minda AI credits shows your requests day by day, and your account page's Usage shows up to 90 days by model, day or week. The credit history keeps the model, the credits and the time, never the words.
What does not use credits
Workspaces, split view, the ad blocker, Tor, sync, notes, timers and reminders, and every function that needs no AI. A plan never unlocks a function. Besides credits and everyday replies, only two numbers differ by plan: the social profiles you follow (10 on Free, 2,000 on Pro) and cloud automations turned on at once (20 on Free, 50 on Pro).
Paid plans can be cancelled anytime and keep working to the end of the period you paid for. Billing is by Stripe, so Minda never sees your card.
