Auto mode, and an agent that asks before it pays
Minda's AI doesn't only talk. Ask it to find the cheapest flight on these dates and fill in the passenger form and the agent clicks, types and fills forms on pages for you. This lesson is about how much it does alone, and where it stops.
Auto is on by default
In the chat box's Modes menu, Auto finishes the task without asking you at each step. In a chat, the agent works in tabs you don't see, so the tab you are using stays in front. Turn Auto off and it shows you an OK card on its way instead.
Want to watch? Type show me the progress or bring me there while it works, and its tab comes on screen. A small bar on that page has Pause and Stop. Paused, it is your turn: use the page yourself, then press Continue and it reads the page again with what you did.
Ask before paying
Some steps always wait for you. With Ask before paying on, which is the default, the agent stops for your OK before it presses a button that pays, buys, books or places an order, or types card or bank details. Every other step runs on its own. The switch is in Settings → AI agent → Access.
The OK comes as a Needs your OK card in the chat with Allow and Deny. Show tab brings the page on screen first, so you see what it did before you answer. A background task or a schedule tells you it is waiting.
Careful, for steps that can't be undone
Turn on Careful in the Modes menu (it is off by default) and, even in Auto, a step that sends, posts, submits, deletes, uploads a file, types a password, code or card number, or gives access waits for your OK. A team can require Careful for its members.
You can also say it in your own words. Ask for a draft, or say for my review or do not submit, and a press that finishes the work (Submit, Send, Post, Publish, Approve, Pay) waits for you in tasks and schedules, and in a chat while Auto is off or Careful is on.
When only you can go on
Logins and CAPTCHAs are yours. The agent hands the page to you and waits. It rejects cookie banners and declines newsletter, app and notification pop-ups, but never accepts, subscribes or allows, and leaves age checks and paywalls to you.
Your computer, only if you allow it
The agent works in the browser. It clicks or types in other programs only if you turn on computer control in Settings → Integrations, and then the Computer control level sets how far it may go: Off, Look only, Ask each step or Full control.
What it keeps
An action log records the tool, the site and the result, never page text or what was typed. In Settings → AI agent → Access you can allow or block sites and switch whole families of tools on or off.
A good first job: open my three most recent order confirmations in Gmail and make a table of item, price and delivery date.
