Workspaces: many accounts, kept apart

2 min · Minda in 10 minutes

A workspace is a set of tabs with its own sign-ins. Each workspace has its own cookies, so you can be signed in to two accounts on the same site at the same time: a personal and a business account, say, or two online stores you run. No logging out and back in.

Make one

Press New workspace in the left rail, give it a name and pick a color. Right-click it in the rail to Rename it, Change color, Set icon, or Open in new window, which gives that workspace a window of its own. Each window keeps its own workspace and page. Workspaces are unlimited on every plan.

What a workspace keeps apart

  • Cookies and sign-ins.
  • Its tabs and sidebar apps.
  • Its own connection, if you choose. Connection… on the workspace menu (or Settings → Privacy → Proxy servers) sets a proxy for it, and Check shows the address and country that sites see from there.

Delete with care

Delete workspace… moves its tabs and apps to the All workspace and deletes its cookies and site data. Saved passwords stay.

Private windows are different

A private window keeps its cookies in memory only. Close it and nothing is kept.

The agent and your workspaces

Minda's AI agent works in your real, signed-in accounts. Name a workspace in your own words, such as check today's orders in the Shop B workspace, or say every account, and the agent opens the page with that workspace's sign-ins in a tab you do not see. Helpers take one account each, side by side.

Two rules keep this safe. Only your own words choose a workspace, never text on a web page. And the name has to stand next to the word workspace or account. Scheduled tasks and saved agents keep the workspace they were made in.

A good habit: one workspace per identity. Work, personal, each client. Then a link you open in one never leaks its cookies into another.
