4 new features, 2 improvements and 2 bug fixes.
The main changes
- The task manager is part of Settings → Performance: every process Minda runs, with its memory and CPU. minda://task-manager opens it too, like Chrome's Shift+Esc. Go to a process's tab, put it to sleep or end it; the AI chat can do the same.
- Word, Excel and PowerPoint files open in their own editor in Edit & sign, and Ask AI can change them. Read and write Word, Excel, CSV and PowerPoint files in their own format. Ask AI edits the open file in its own editor.
- A model that can't answer hands the run to another one, in Minda and Minda SI for Chrome. No dead end when a provider is down or out of credit: the run goes on with the next model.
- Shorts promotion banners slide above the gallery, in Library → Shorts and on the account page.
Improved
- Follows keep a safe pace on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Threads.
- A note on the account page opens straight into the editor and saves as you type.
Fixed
- Minda Live hears and answers in the language you chose, and listens more closely to a quiet microphone.
- People keep every post and channel when they are updated or synced from another computer.
