What’s new in Minda · 2026-10-15

24 new features, 16 improvements and 6 bug fixes.

The main changes

• Spreadsheets in Edit & sign work like Google Sheets, with its toolbar, sheet tabs, Functions button, filters and sorting. Fonts, sizes, colours, fills, borders, number formats, merge, paint format, zoom and print, with Menus to find any command. Add, duplicate, rename, hide, move and delete sheets from the tabs at the foot; formulas follow a renamed sheet. Functions: SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX and MIN go under the selected cells at once (one cell starts the formula on the numbers above it); every other function is listed by group with how it is written. Create a filter puts a button on each header: sort A to Z or Z to A, or tick the values to show. The filter is saved in the Excel file, and Ask AI can set it too. Align, wrap and turn text from the toolbar: up, down, tilted, stacked or to any angle; the row grows to fit, and Excel shows it the same.
• A tab dragged off its strip brings a whole window along under the pointer, as in Chrome. Pull a tab off the strip and it moves into its own window right away, page and all, and that window follows your pointer while you hold the button. A dragged tab rides under the pointer on its strip, live. Smooth: the window moves once every screen frame, in step with your display, and trails the pointer about half as far as before. Drop it on another window's tabs to join them, or let go anywhere else to keep the new window where you let go. Esc puts the tab back, and a click ends a stuck drag.
• Give each workspace its own proxy, check what sites see, and open it in a window of its own. A proxy per workspace: the workspace's menu → Connection…, or Settings → Privacy → Proxy servers. Check shows the address and country a site sees from that workspace. Open in new window on every workspace's menu. Ask the AI chat to list, make, rename or delete workspaces and give them a proxy.
• A stopped AI reply can be resumed from where it stopped. Resume takes the place of Send when the box is empty after you stop a reply. Hover Stopped above the reply and it turns into Resume. Send a new message after stopping and the AI weighs both: it applies a change to the stopped task, or does the new ask and then finishes the old one.

New

• Messages that came while Minda was closed are kept whole and only once, with their pictures and voice messages, in Minda and the account page's Inbox.
• Release notes list every change to Minda day by day, in Minda, on the account page and on mindasip.com.
• Sign in with Google works like it does in Chrome: a card at the top right with Continue as your name.
• Your agent says hello after a quiet while, as a person would.
• Show tab brings the page Minda works in on screen, so you see what it did before you allow a step.
• Right-click any AI chat message to react with WhatsApp's and Telegram's emoji.
• Make pictures and videos in one of 12 styles: Anime, 3D, Watercolor, Pixel and more.
• Alt+Q opens the AI chat, in Minda and Minda SI for Chrome.
• Careful mode makes the agent wait for your OK on risky steps, even in Auto, by your choice or by your team's policy.
• Videos and audio files play in Minda's own player.
• Photoshop and Illustrator files open in Edit & sign, Photoshop's with their layers, and save back in their own type.
• Web pages and SVG drawings can be edited in Edit & sign.
• Pictures can be cropped, turned, flipped and resized in Edit & sign.
• Edit & sign edits Word, Excel and PowerPoint files in place, in their own look.
• A profile's website shows its traffic and closest competitors, in Minda, on the account page and in the AI chat.
• An organisation's page and the AI chat show its Google reviews: its stars, top reviews and every branch.
• Promotions now show in Shorts and the Marketplace, can count down to their end, and fit phone screens.
• Notes on the account page take pictures and files, update live from Minda, and Ask AI improves the text you select.
• An item from the shop can be worn as your agent's picture, and Buy opens a receipt to confirm first.
• Minda SI for Chrome opens Edit & sign, with the same editors as Minda on the desktop.

Improved

• Settings' sidebar folds to its icons.
• The AI reads every file and document it is given in full, Google Docs, Slides, Drive and Dropbox included, and says what it could not read.
• The AI reads and fills Google Sheets: it finds why a formula is wrong and writes rows at the right cell, never over yours.
• When your Minda AI credits run low or out, a one-line notice sits on top of the chat box, and you can close it.
• The model menus keep each vendor's models together.
• A profile's facts show once, with where each came from, and an organisation's phone and address come in from Google Maps.
• A company's Business tab finds its stock and record at once, shows today's change right and repeats nothing from the rest of its page.
• A profile opened from another one opens the right account and shows its loading skeleton while it loads.
• An organisation's page shows who founded and leads it, and looks its business up by itself.
• Posts show when they were really posted, with the time, and the People list moves someone up only for a new post.
• The People list folds to a strip of profile pictures instead of disappearing, each with a card on hover.
• People searches and business tracking use the AI model less, so they cost fewer credits.
• The account page's Inbox is laid out like a chat app: filters, conversations and the open thread side by side.
• Minda SI's sidebar opens and closes smoothly from the toolbar button and the page's bar.
• The compare page shows the apps side by side in one table, on one type scale.
• The download page lets you pick Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome or phone, and opens on your own system.

Fixed

• The task manager shows what each process really uses, live every second, high use in red.
• Each window keeps its own workspace and page.
• Minda's AI works in the WhatsApp or Telegram you already have open: it reads who messaged you, sends there and attaches files as Share does.
• Asking about today's news or the latest AI products gets the day's real stories, in English or Chinese, not "I don't have updates".
• Minda's voice answers right away when you turn the mic on, in one voice and your language, and music goes quiet as soon as you talk.
• A Facebook post shows its own picture, never an ad or a stranger's.
